Pick Army 2019 - Present
PickArmy.com is a sports social media site, inspired by the “wisdom of crowds” theory, that enables its users to capture their networks’ knowledge to generate consensus top picks against the spread. During the 2020 NFL season we are beat testing our proprietary data algorithms with hundred of Pick Army users. As COO, lead all operational activities, including business planning, web design, data validation and social media content creation.

Promoted to startup team of three to create a brand new department – the CBS Sports News Team – to oversee breaking, daily and long-term news coverage for all CBS Sports broadcasts, both in show planning and in the control room. Worked on deadlines ranging from a few minutes to a few weeks, and for audiences numbering into the millions.
Supported all CBS live game coverage by collaborating with multiple production teams and on-air talent to write scripts, develop human-interest and other feature story ideas and create infographics. Managed CBS Sports’ obituary project, including locating digital archival footage and video assets, editing and writing scripts,
> Wrote and edited a three-minute TV piece, on tight deadline, about the death by apparent suicide of former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez, who was sentence to life in prison without paroled after being found guilty of first-degree murder in 2015.
Writer and Head NFL Researcher, 2011-2016
Wrote vignettes and show scripts as well as trivia and guest bios for live on-location Super Bowl Week coverage (Super Bowl 50 and XLVIII) - and all other CBS Sports Network programming. Developed story ideas, inforgraphics, research and interview questions for documentaries, features, interviews and studio and game broadcasts. Edited shot sheets while coordinating with producers on possible rundown changes and getting highlights to air on tight deadlines. Mastered internal digital video and audio archive systems.
Discovered the difficulty of filming live animals - trying to get a marmot to pick the Super Bowl 50 winner - and then how to handle a production schedule gone awry.
